Introduction: The prices of octanol and phthalic anhydride have both shown a downward trend, and the cost line of DOP Plasticizer market has moved downward. The stage profit level has improved. After the National Day holiday, the average gross profit of Dioctyl Phthalate production in the sample market has reached the level of 184 yuan/ton.

During the National Day holiday, the price of octanol increased, and the support time for high prices after the holiday was short. The price showed a downward trend. As of November 6th, the decline of octanol was at the level of 1700 yuan/ton. In addition, the phthalic anhydride market continued to show a downward trend to digest inventory pressure during the National Day holiday, with a decrease of 1050 yuan/ton for ortho phthalic anhydride and 700 yuan/ton for naphthalene phthalic anhydride.

Under the situation of declining prices of dual raw materials, the cost line of DOP oil has plummeted. From the figure above, it can be seen that the profit level of the DOP market has increased since mid to late October, mostly at the best level of the year. The average gross profit level of the sample market in October was 121 yuan/ton, and as of November 7th, the average gross profit level in November was 400 yuan/ton.

Starting from November 7th, the spot transaction price of octanol has increased by 750 yuan/ton, and the price of phthalic anhydride has also shown a stable and strong trend. Although the DOP price has followed the upward trend, the rapid rise of the price to a high point will inevitably affect the buying mentality, and the transaction atmosphere will weaken. However, as the plasticizer starts to recover, octanol has just needed buying support, and the price still has strong operating expectations. The cost line of dioctyl phthalate has continued to move upward, The market profit margin is gradually narrowing, and gross profit is showing a downward trend. However, there are still expectations of a pullback after the market's high level buying is hindered, but the price will slightly rise at the bottom.
