Phthalic anhydride has shown a weak trend recently, and there is an oversupply of ortho-phthalic anhydride. However, when the maintenance of naphthalene-based phthalic anhydride is concentrated, the turbulence of ortho-phthalic anhydride is also limited, and the weakening trend of ortho-phthalic anhydride has benefited the DOP industry to a certain extent. Driven by the rebound of raw material octanol, DOP's center of gravity follows the rise, and the same fluctuation space is limited. It is difficult for domestic demand to improve, and the downstream DOP just needs to buy and maintain, which limits the space for DOP to improve. Recently, the productivity utilization rate of DOP industry has been improved, which stimulates the production enthusiasm of DOP merchants under the situation of good export situation and certain profits, but there is also some pressure on sales. Under the situation of limited domestic demand, DOP merchants are still actively shipping, and when the seller occupies the right to speak, there is some resistance to the rise of DOP. The phenomenon that the raw material octanol storage device is about to be overhauled provides a speculation opportunity for the market at this stage. It is expected that the price of octanol will be pushed up in stages, and the phthalic anhydride will stabilize mainly. For DOP, the cost will rise. Although DOP has started to improve, there is still a tight delivery situation. At this stage, under the situation that the inventory pressure is falling and the cost is expected to increase, it is expected that the market focus of DOP will rise in a narrow range. However, the follow-up of downstream demand is insufficient, and the wait-and-see attitude still exists, so the market will still just need horizontal transactions.
