According to the latest statistical data released by the General Administration of Customs of China, the import volume of Carbon Black in China was 28200 tons in October 2023, a year-on-year increase of 202.61%. The cumulative import volume of carbon black from January to October this year was 227300 tons, a year-on-year increase of 198.67%.

If sorted by import volume, among the five major import source countries in October 2023, Russia had the highest import volume and the largest growth rate, with an import volume of 21900 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1104.02%, accounting for approximately 78% of the total import volume for that month. The other importing countries are Belgium (import volume 1279.21 tons, a year-on-year increase of 22.47%), South Korea (1155.65 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 42.88%), Japan (1150.30 tons, a year-on-year increase of 36.46%), and Germany (524.92 tons, a year-on-year increase of 60.67%).

In October 2023, China's carbon black export volume was 58800 tons, a year-on-year increase of 5.15%; The cumulative export volume of carbon black from January to October this year was 589200 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.46%.

If sorted by export volume, the top five export destination countries for October 2023 are Thailand (17700 tons of imports from China, a year-on-year increase of 32.81%), Vietnam (13700 tons, a year-on-year decrease of 17.69%), Indonesia (11000 tons, an increase of 33.44%), Cambodia (2676.20 tons, an increase of 763.04%), and Poland (1725.00 tons, an increase of 390.06%). The amount of carbon black exported to the five countries mentioned above accounts for approximately 80% of the total monthly export volume.
