KRONOS borrows from Omia: Overseas titanium dioxide is making a comeback

On October 14, Titanium Dioxide giant KONOS and calcium carbonate giant omia announced that they had signed a partnership to distribute KONOS titanium dioxide in the Philippines on behalf of Omia, which also improved its titanium dioxide business coverage in the Asia Pacific region.

According to the agreement between the two parties, Omia will provide KONOS titanium dioxide products for coatings, thermoplastic plastics, polymer elastomers, adhesives and other industries. In addition to the previous technical services set up by Australia, New Zealand, China, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, etc., and even the technical services set up by Omia in Singapore, the Asia Pacific market has expanded. At present, the domestic titanium dioxide market has just experienced continuous price increase and is booming. However, the titanium dioxide giants in Europe and the United States have moved in succession. The joint venture factory of Venator and Kronos has fully resumed production after the hurricane, and chemours has also opened a new zirconium titanium miner factory. The recovery of production capacity is in sight. This time, KONOS continues to make efforts in marketing, which means that overseas titanium dioxide is making a comeback, and the handover with China's titanium dioxide will be more frequent.
