There are many types of Carbon Black, among which the use of different carbon black will be different, we can choose according to the needs.


For coloring: choose carbon black with high blackness and small particle size, but make sure that the carbon black is properly and completely dispersed, otherwise it will run counter to the original requirements.

Color matching: choose carbon black with low blackness, large particle size and easy dispersion.

Anti UV: mainly used in plastics and rubber. Choose carbon black with medium particle size and slightly higher structure, which has the best anti ultraviolet performance.

No matter what kind of carbon black is used for, we need to find out what kind of carbon black is suitable for and what characteristics of carbon black can be used as much as possible.

Various carbon black brands and different uses

N220 is suitable for all kinds of rubber. Its wear resistance is 10% - 20% higher than that of N330. It can give rubber particles high tensile strength and tear strength, and has certain conductivity. It is mainly used for tread compound of truck tire and passenger tire, and rubber products requiring high strength and high wear resistance.

The wear resistance of n234 is about 10% higher than that of N220, and it can show better wear resistance when used in high severity scale. It is mainly used for high-speed tire tread compound and high-quality rubber products.

N326 has high tensile strength, tear resistance, wear resistance and anti bounce properties in Nr. It is mainly used for tire tread compound with high strength and low heat build-up (including off-road tire), and also suitable for conveyor belt, sealing products and other high-quality rubber industrial products.

N330 is a kind of carbon black with good reinforcement performance, which can give rubber particles good strength and elongation, tear resistance, wear resistance and elasticity. It is mainly used for tire tread, cord compound, sidewall and various rubber industrial products.


The reinforcement, wear resistance and crack growth resistance of N339 in tread compound are close to N220 carbon black, especially suitable for the blending system of SBR and Br. It is mainly used for tread rubber of passenger tire and truck tire, conveyor belt, hose and various kinds of rubber industrial products with high wear resistance.


The properties of N375 and N339 are basically the same, and the heat generation is slightly lower than that of N339. It is mainly used for tread compound of car tire, truck tire and off-road tire.

N550 is suitable for natural rubber and all kinds of synthetic rubber. It is easy to disperse. It can give the rubber high stiffness, high extrusion speed, small mouth expansion and smooth extrusion surface. The vulcanizate has good high temperature performance and thermal conductivity, as well as good reinforcement, elasticity and resilience. It is mainly used in tire cord compound, sidewall, inner tube, extrusion and calendering products.

N539 is used in the compound of this product, its extrusion surface is smooth, and the mouth expansion is small. The results showed that the tensile strength and elongation of vulcanizate were higher, the constant elongation stress was lower than that of N550, the elasticity and fatigue resistance were better. It is mainly used for tire carcass compound, especially for natural rubber based buffer layer compound. It can also be used in tire base compound, tape covering and other rubber products as well as wire and cable sheath.

N660 is suitable for all kinds of rubber. Compared with semi reinforced carbon black, n660 has higher structure, finer particles, easy dispersion in rubber compound, higher tensile strength, tear resistance and elongation stress of vulcanizate, small deformation, low heat generation, good elasticity and bending resistance. It is mainly used for tire curtain, inner tube, bicycle, hose, tape, cable, shoes, calendered products, model products, etc.
