According to the latest statistics of the Titanium Dioxide sub center of the productivity promotion center of the chemical industry and the Secretariat of the titanium dioxide industry technological innovation strategic alliance, in 2021, the total amount of various types of products produced by 42 full process titanium dioxide enterprises in China's titanium dioxide industry with normal production conditions reached 3.79 million tons, an increase of 280000 tons over the same period, an increase of 8.0%, a record high.


In the total amount of 3.79 million tons of titanium dioxide, rutile products are 3.126 million tons, accounting for 82.5% of the total output; The anatase type is 494000 tons, accounting for 13.0%; Non pigment grade and other types of products are 170000 tons, accounting for 4.5%.


Among the total output of 3.79 million tons, chlorination products accounted for 376000 tons, accounting for 9.9% of the total output and 12.0% of rutile products, all of which increased compared with the previous year.


According to the analysis of titanium dioxide sub center of productivity promotion center of chemical industry:


1. The total output of titanium dioxide reached a record high, mainly due to the improvement of the global economic environment and the insufficient operating rate of foreign production enterprises affected by the epidemic.


2. At the same time, the production capacity of foreign titanium dioxide manufacturers has not increased effectively for many years, which makes China's titanium dioxide export increase year by year.


3. The domestic epidemic situation is properly controlled, the overall macroeconomic orientation is good, driven by new infrastructure and internal circulation. With the expansion of domestic enterprises in recent years, the overall production capacity has increased.
