In May 2023, the import volume of Titanium Dioxide in China was 6400 tons, with a month on month increase of 16.36% and a year-on-year decrease of 57.33%. The cumulative import volume from January to May 2023 was 25100 tons, a decrease of 52.01% compared to the same period last year. The average import price in April was $3508.16 per ton, a decrease of 3.11% compared to the previous month.

In May 2023, the export volume of titanium dioxide in China was 144600 tons, with a month on month increase of 12.18% and a year-on-year increase of 24.98%. The cumulative export volume from January to May 2023 was 710600 tons, an increase of 40.27% compared to the same period last year. The average export price in April was 2272.4 US dollars per ton, an increase of 1.27% month on month.

From the perspective of import sources, the top three titanium dioxide imports in May 2023 are Taiwan, China, Japan and Australia. The import volume of Taiwan, China is 1440.09 tons, accounting for 22.35% of China's total imports; Secondly, Japan imported 1008.12 tons, accounting for 15.64% of China's total imports; Australia ranks third with an import volume of 970 tons, accounting for 15.05% of China's total imports.

From the perspective of import registration location, the largest import volume in May 2023 was 3898.39 tons from Shanghai, accounting for 60.50% of the total import volume of titanium dioxide in China; The second ranked region is Zhejiang Province, with an import volume of 1216.03 tons, accounting for 18.87% of China's total import of titanium dioxide; The third place is Guangdong Province, with an import volume of 974.85 tons, accounting for 15.13% of China's total export of titanium dioxide.

From the perspective of export destinations, the top three countries in China's export of titanium dioxide in May 2023 were India, Brazil, and South Korea, with 18970.532 tons of titanium dioxide exported to India, accounting for 13.12% of China's total export volume; Secondly, Brazil exports 11042.97 tons of titanium dioxide, accounting for 7.63% of China's total exports; South Korea ranks third with an export volume of 8331.654 tons, accounting for 5.76% of China's total export volume.

From the perspective of export registration location, Henan Province had the largest export volume in May 2023, with exports of 34425.871 tons, accounting for 23.8% of China's total export volume of titanium dioxide; The second ranked region is Sichuan Province, with an export volume of 26141.486 tons, accounting for 18.07% of China's total export volume of titanium dioxide; The third place is Shandong Province, with an export volume of 20320.768 tons, accounting for 14.05% of China's total export of titanium dioxide.
