1. Oil absorption. With the improvement of printing speed and technology, it is necessary to reduce the viscosity of the ink, and the oil absorption of titanium dioxide has become the key. In the case of constant color concentration, reduce the oil absorption as much as possible, which is conducive to improving the preparation of viscosity ink.

2. Particle size and distribution. High quality titanium dioxide particles have a smooth appearance, no edges, and the uniform distribution of the size and shape of titanium dioxide particles has a great impact on the whiteness of titanium dioxide. The particle size of titanium dioxide is 0.2 to 0.4um, which is equivalent to about half of the visible wavelength, which can obtain high scattering ability and make the color appear whiter.

3. Scattering ability and refractive index. The higher the refractive index of titanium dioxide, the stronger the coloring force, the greater the scattering coefficient, the stronger the coloring force. Because titanium dioxide itself has an obvious crystal structure, its refractive index is larger than the colorant, the hiding power is also better, and it is widely used in ink.
