In April 2019, after Terno announced the completion of the acquisition of Cristal's titanium dioxide business, its annual output jumped to 1.078 million tons, narrowing the capacity gap with the industry's No. 1 Chemours to a large extent. According to the 2021 financial report, Panergy's Pori plant in Finland is expected to suspend production in 2022, with a production capacity reduction of 25,000 tons compared with 2021. In addition, Tenor plans to increase the production of titanium dioxide by 40,000 tons in 2022 to meet market demand.

HTR-628 is a rutile titanium dioxide pigment with alumina, Zirconia and organic surface treatment, with high whiteness and gloss, high scattering power, high durability and excellent dispersibility. As a general purpose Tio2, widely used in coatings, plastics, ink and paper.
