Lanxess is raising its global prices for Iron Oxide and chrome oxide pigments with immediate effect. The price of Iron Oxide Pigment will be increased by 110 euro per metric ton, and the price of chromium oxide pigment will be increased by 220 euro per metric ton or local currency equivalent.

Our iron oxide pigment is suitable for coloring and protecting materials of various coatings, including water-based interior and exterior wall coatings, powder coatings, etc.; it can also be used for oil-based coatings, including epoxy, alkyd, amino and other primers and topcoats; it can also be used for toy paint, decorative paint, furniture paint, electrophoretic paint and enamel, etc.


Iron oxide pigment is directly mixed into cement as pigment or colorant in all kinds of precast concrete and building products. All kinds of indoor and outdoor color concrete surface, such as wall, floor, ceiling, pillar, porch, pavement, parking lot, etc.; all kinds of building ceramics and glazed ceramics, such as face tiles, floor tiles, artificial marble, etc.


Iron oxide pigment is suitable for the coloring of plastic products, such as thermosetting plastics and thermoplastics, and rubber products, such as automobile tube, aircraft tube, etc.


In addition, iron oxide pigment is also suitable for coloring all kinds of cosmetics, paper and leather.
