1、 Price trend

According to the data monitored by the business community, on May 31, the domestic price of Carbon Black was 7800 yuan / ton, with a slight fluctuation. The price fluctuation range was 100-300 yuan / ton, and the carbon black market was stable and rising this month. It is understood that the reason for the rise is the shortage of supply, coupled with the pressure of raw material cost, manufacturers choose to keep up with the rise.

2、 Market analysis

In terms of raw materials, the performance of domestic high-temperature coal tar downstream deep processing products has improved, and the coal tar price may be relatively strong in the short term. Affected by the high price of raw materials, carbon black enterprises have obvious pressure on profits, poor cost control, and manufacturers have heard of losses.

As for the manufacturers, some of them were overhauled in May, and the overall start-up of the carbon black industry declined slightly. Due to the smooth delivery of orders last month, the overall inventory of the carbon black industry was low, and it was difficult for individual manufacturers to deliver goods.

In the downstream, the construction of tire enterprises has declined after the festival, but the overall situation is still considerable. At present, the demand for carbon black is supported by tire enterprises. Carbon black manufacturers have ordered new orders for shipment, and the implementation is smooth. Most of the carbon black manufacturers are bullish in the future.

3、 Future forecast

The data division thinks: the short-term price of carbon black may rise steadily, and the downstream demand expectation will be better, which will have a certain drag effect on the price of carbon black.
