In October, the sound of tire price rise was surging, behind which was the sharp rise of raw materials, in which the price of Carbon Black was hitting a new high.

As of October 18, taking Shandong N330 as an example, the market price of carbon black rose to about 8500 yuan / ton, the highest price in the year, up 900 yuan / ton or 11.84% compared with the end of September.

The data show that the highest historical price of carbon black market is about 9200 yuan / ton. At this stage, the market price is only about 700 yuan / ton from the historical highest price.

Under the influence of cost pressure, carbon black enterprises continue to push up the new quotation in the market under the high price trend of raw coal tar, and the carbon black market price still has a certain upward space.

Although the operation of downstream tire enterprises is low, the tight supply of raw coal tar is difficult to change, and the inventory of carbon black enterprises is generally low at this stage, and the cost continues to rise. Under the influence of multiple factors, the cost pressure of carbon black industry is increasing, and the future carbon black market price is expected to reach a new high.
